Something Happened on United Airlines Again! All is Well and Good Though, A Chinese Ultrasound Doctor was there
June 26-2017

Last week something happened to another Asian passenger on United Airlines. An Asian male on a flight from St. Paul to Shanghai felt a tightness in his chest while flying, and fainted suddenly in the restroom. The flight crew had to make an emergency call for help!

Frank is an ultrasound doctor. He was on a business trip to Peru. He was immediately called to the side of this passenger by his colleague Jeans. As a doctor with abundant experience he quickly checked the surface of the passenger’s body and determined that there was no injury. He then inquired into the patient’s past medical history and learned that he had high blood pressure. He measured the passenger’s blood pressure to be 126/98. Sure enough, his diastolic blood pressure was a bit high.

After eliminating the possibility of other emergency situations, Doctor Frank patted the patient’s shoulder: “It’s alright. Relax. Call me again if you feel bad.”

A few minutes later a stewardess sought out Doctor Frank again. The patient stated that his hand felt a bit numb. The doctor checked his heartbeat and his blood pressure medication, and explained that: “Your blood pressure medication will cause your heart rate to slow down. Don’t sit in the same position for a long time. You can relax.”

The patient gradually relaxed after being consoled by the doctor, and quickly felt relieved. Most of the fellow passengers had already gone to sleep. Almost no one noticed that this applied ultrasound doctor took part in assisting this patient.

Yes, Frank is different from an average doctor, even though he once was one of them. However, now he is one of VINNO’s applied ultrasound doctors.

What kind of doctor is an applied ultrasound doctor?

Applied ultrasound doctors are frequently ultrasound manufacturers, and usually have rich experience in ultrasound scanning and diagnoses. Within a company, they transmit the core technology of a product to customers and serve an important role connecting to the needs of customers and research and development.

Frank was once a physician in an ultrasound department, and has six years of experience as a doctor. When he was an ultrasound doctor he would deal with over 100 nervous patients everyday, make diagrams, perform diagnoses, and write reports. Sometimes he would encounter one or two baffling cases. Clinicians would bring a B ultrasound report and knock on his door: “Hey? What is your diagnosis?”

Frank felt that he had grown quite a bit after becoming an applied physician. He began to understand the “different requirements that different markets had for technology”, and quickly improved his professional knowledge while frequently interacting with international colleagues.

“In the past when working in the department I would only pay attention to the cardiovascular field. Now, if I want to conduct a relatively professional exchange I have to do quite a bit of self-study in fairly popular fields like obstetrics, gynecology, and muscle and bone, for example.”

What is different about the daily routine of applied ultrasound doctors?

Take a glance at Doctor Frank’s passport and visas: Dubai, Dominica, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Romania...he’s gone to 13 countries in the past six months. People always asking: why are you always in a trip?

At one Peru exhibition Doctor Frank introduced the VINNO cavitation therapy technology to a local colleague. It was the first time that his colleague had heard of this new technology. He promptly searched for relevant documents, and inquired as to whether there were any clinical data. “They just happened to be having an academic conference about tumors the next month. We gave all of the documents that we could to him.”

In these “world travels”, an ever increasing amount of international exchanges have put Frank truly at the forefront of the industry, realizing the professional value of a doctor with a more open perspective and more comprehensive technology.

Postscript

The patient who was helped by Doctor Frank safely disembarked when the plane finally landed in Shanghai. He enthusiastically thanked Frank and Jeans. Jeans laughingly said: “At the time if we had brought portable ultrasound equipment, we could have given you a free examination.” Professional, comprehensive, and enthusiastic are the special moving qualities of VINNO’s applied ultrasound doctors.

United Airlines specially presented Frank with a thank you card. They wrote:

Outstanding ultrasound doctors join the VINNO team every year, and realize their promise of protecting life in a different kind of way. We salute the VINNO applied ultrasound doctor team! Maybe you’ll encounter them in your next long journey.
