Recently, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has declared the COVID-19 outbreak “a global pandemic.” As of March 12 (Beijing time), tCOVID-19 cases have been detected in 120 countries and regions, suggesting that the global epidemic is becoming increasingly severe.

On March 12, we received an order from Italy. It is reported that Italy has become one of the countries suffering the most severe outbreak around the world, with more than 15,000 confirmed cases (as of 12:00 on March 13). At such an urgent moment, it is incumbent upon VINNO, a Chinese innovative medical device company to fulfill its mission of protecting the health of global citizens while doing its best to support the anti-epidemic cause domestically.
The devices sent from the VINNO Suzhou Headquarters to Italy included high-end portable and desktop ultrasound devices. In emergency rescue scenes, portable ultrasound devices are lightweight, flexible and fast-moving, which are able to respond to various point-of-care tests (POCT) in a timely manner. It plays an irreplaceable role in the diagnosis and treatment of acute pneumonia thanks to its long battery life and capability to achieve sustainable scanning easily.

In order to deliver the required devices to Italy as quickly as possible, we mobilized departments (including Production, R&D and Commissioning) within 24 hours to ensure that all the devices are delivered in an orderly manner.
